For those who thought "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" was already going to be a lengthy adventure to undertake, it appears as though the journey could get longer as two new expansion packs will add more than 30 hours of gameplay.
The first of the two expansion packs is "Hearts of Stone." In this expansion pack, players will head to two new areas known as "No Man's Land" and "Oxenfurt."
During their travels to these two new places, players can then accept a quest from someone simply known as the "Man of Glass," according to Gamespot.
Finishing "Hearts of Stone" will take around 10 hours. This expansion pack will be available in October of this year, according to Geek.com.
The other expansion pack is known as "Blood and Wine." Players who purchase this expansion pack will be able to travel to a new land known as "Toussaint" but little else other than the name of the new region has been revealed about the second add-on.
"Blood and Wine" will add the other 20 hours of gameplay, and it should become available early in 2016.
Both expansion packs are also expected to feature new enemies and gear.
The two expansion packs are also set to be made available through a "Witcher 3" expansion pass. Prices for the two packs are yet to be announced.
Following the announcement of the two new expansion packs, CD Projekt Red co-founder Marcin Iwinski said players should not purchase the add-ons unless they are absolutely sure they enjoy the game, according to Venture Beat.
"While we're offering the expansion pass now, we want to make one thing clear: Don't buy if you have any doubts," said Iwinski.
CD Projekt Red has been critical of paid downloadable content in the past, but Iwinski insists that the two expansions are substantial and could even stand as a game all on their own.
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will be released on May 19 for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and the PC.
