Netflix's "House of Cards" offered a much quieter season 3. Fans of the show thought that the third season will follow the tone of the first two seasons but it turned out to be a little less scandalous. The season 3 ender however, dropped an expected bomb when Claire finally decides to leave Frank. Will she stay on Frank's side in the next season or will she oppose her husband?
"House of Cards" show runner Beau Willimon opted for a quieter third season that moves deeper into the personal issues of the characters. Fans noticed that there weren't so much schemes and scandals in the recently concluded season compared to the previous ones. In fact, Claire and Frank's relationship was magnified in series 3, showing their personal battles with each other. Though the third season's finale dropped bomb to the hearts of its viewers, at the same time, it was also expected given the strained relationship of Claire (played by Robin Wright) and Frank (Kevin Spacey).
The question now is, will Claire finally leave Frank for good in "House of Cards Season 4"? She has all the motivation to leave her husband professionally speaking. Claire has been looking for a reason to feel relevant again in the entire season 3 but failed numerous times. This ultimately led to her giant step out of the door of Frank's life that could probably cause her husband's downfall.
Speculations about the events in "House of Cards Season 4" rotate on how Claire's decision will affect Frank's career. Frank can try to win his wife back but some also say that Claire might seriously go against Frank to the extent that she will join a team of an opposing candidate. One thing's for sure, Claire will surely find a way to redeem herself next season after the series of professional failures she encountered in the past. Fans are also looking forward for the return of the scandals next season that will spring from Claire and Frank's damaged relationship.
"House of Cards Season 4" will surely bring resolutions or probably more conflict when it returns on 2016. The magnitude of season 3's finale is grave for the fans of the show since it is still uncertain whether Frank and Claire will be able to resolve the professional and marital problems they faced in the last season.
