Intended to be released this upcoming June 12 for European nations, F1 2015 is receiving a lot of teasers, in-game footage, and even rumors. The most recent is the announcement that it will be running at 60 fps on the PS4. Despite coming from the developers itself, Codemasters, players are quite skeptical on the possibility that it will be achievable.
Moreover, this is the first project of Codemasters to be unveiled in the PS4 and Xbox One, meaning that their experiences are still limited. In addition, consoles have limited memory budgets which will add to the challenge in achieving the goal. However, despite being hard, it is still possible through optimization.
In the case that it does not reach the intended benchmark, developers are confident that they will only be slightly off mark. Their goal is to provide the best graphical experience in which 60 fps is what they are trying to aim. In the meantime, developers are still unable to reach their intended goal, however, they are close to hitting the ideal framerate.
For F1 Xbox One and PC release, no announcements have been made on their possible graphical performance. Though, it is likely that they are receiving the same optimization. In general, the game's graphics are astounding to a point that even the slightest details are visible, as shown in the released gameplay footage.
As of the moment, there are still limited details to the game's features and content. In terms of vehicles, there will be a wide choice of 2014 racecars although the developers are facing challenges in adding 2015 models. In addition, the vehicles are going to have nearly the same features as their real counterparts.
F1 2015 will be going head-to-head with Project Cars which will also be released this year. This might be the reason why graphics is a well-developed aspect of the game. In the end, a storyline, challenges, and other aspects will make or break the game.
