Street Fighter 5 Release Date Confirmed in 2016? Ultra Street Fighter 4 Coming to PS4, PC this May

By

Despite being unconfirmed, the Street Fighter 5 Release date is tentatively going to be around the spring of 2016. The information was found on the bottom part of Capcom's Unity Post which was immediately removed afterwards.

However, Amazon and Best Buy retailers have a March 31, 2016 release date on their pre-order packages. The game is confirmed to be coming to PS4 and PC platforms, though this is not the only information known about it.

Moreover, a total of 14 characters will be in the game. Three of which are considered as returning playable characters including Ryu, Chun-Li, and Nash. Some of the new ones include Kuan, Sherry, and Akuma. The rest are the originals namely Alex, Urien, Dudley, Elena, M.Bison, Hugo, Poison, Abel, and C.Viper.

Despite no confirmed definitive release date yet, the game is said to conduct a public beta test. The purpose is to gather opinions and feedbacks from fans. Though, the date for the event is also yet to be announced. Nevertheless, it is a sign that the game will be making its way into the market anytime soon, most likely the speculated leaked date.

As of the moment, Ultra Street Fighter 4 is taking the spotlight in the gaming community especially that it will be coming to the PS4 platform. It was first released last summer on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, and have already received a few DLCs ever since. All of which will be included in the upcoming appearance of the game on the PS4 on May 26.

In addition, the minor input lag issue that was experienced in the PS3 version will be fixed when it comes to the PS4. Since players have already seen the game's features in its release, PS4 players cannot feel but get the experience on their own hands. As a result, the Street Fighter 5 release can wait.
