After one month into the game's release, GTA 5 PC received a set of updates in the form of patches aimed to fix game bugs and issues as well as add new minor features and tweaks. The most recent is the patch 335.1 that came to the game on April 21. However, succeeding patches will be further coming considering the massiveness of the game.
A lot of things have been fixed and tweaked in patch 335.1, though there are noteworthy mentions. For the most part, developers received complaints about the game requiring Windows Media Player to be installed that led to the removal of the game requirement. This minimized the total number of errors that prompts whilst running and installing the game, especially for people who have not downloaded it yet.
Also, most of the players use Steam, though, it was found to continually crash right after the game's launch. This issue is also fixed along with in-game minor bugs like getting stuck in the clouds when quick restarting the Humane Labs Heist. In terms of added tweaks and features, the developers did not take it slow.
Players can no longer purchase vehicles that their properties cannot store. Also, there is an added feature of launching a video card benchmark test from the main menu if gamers want to monitor the framerate and other graphical performance. Despite not having an immense impact, the update made the game more stable, playable, and balanced.
Despite a lot of things pending for GTA 5 PC, GTA 6 is making an appearance in the form of rumors and possible announcements in the internet. Though, as of the moment, there is still no definite date or bracket as to when the game, or at least the trailer, will be released. In the meantime, it is forecasted to be between 2018 and 2020, and will be taking place in a full-scale U.S. map which will be twice the size of GTA 5.
