Square Enix seems to be looking at another Type series following the success of "Final Fantasy Type-0. Hajime Tabata, the director for "Type-0," said that the work for "Final Fantasy Type-1" has already begun shortly after the series was released on PSP. Gamers however are clamoring for the highly-anticipated Final Fantasy XV, which release seems to be hindered by the Type series.
Square Enix may be committed in expanding their "Type" series to follow up "Final Fantasy Type-0" and "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD." The speculations swirling online were caused on the trailer by the end of "Final Fantasy-0."
A report said secret trailer is revealed showing a bloody Ace guarding a temple at night. His body is pierced with arrows while a sword is slipping from his grasp. And Just as he is about to die, he is embraced by arms of fire and transformed into a deadly samurai warrior of sorts. The fire that engulfed him healed his wounds and made him look even more powerful. He then said, "We have arrived."
The speculations were confirmed by "Final Fantasy Type-0" game director Hajime Tabata, who said they are already working on a sequel. However, after Tabata was tapped to be the director for "Final Fantasy XV," the production was put aside. This then ends the speculations that the "Type" series is delaying the release of "FFXV."
Speaking of "FFXV," gamers have been waiting so long for the release of the action role-playing video game, which production started in May 2006. Due to the long wait for its development, buzz about its cancellation surfaced. But recent reports said that the Square Enix game will finally see the light of day on May 2016.
It seems that gamers that are expecting the "Final Fantasy Type-1" release still have to wait for a while as Hajime Tabata is currently working of "Final Fantasy XV." For now, the teaser trailer shown at the end of "Type-0" will be the only video about the sequel that gamers could chew on.
