Aside from tightened security at St. Mary's Hospital where the second baby of Prince William and Kate Middleton is said to be delivered, additional security has been beefed up for the royal baby. From the hospital, the royal family is expected to directly head to Kensington Palace as requested by Prince Charles.
According to a report, once the baby is born which may likely happen before the month ends, additional security detail will be in place. Aside from the current security Prince William and Kate Middleton have, more security is in place should they need more. Prince George, who is barely two years old, may have extra protection taking consideration the possibility of kidnapping. The said heightened security is part of standard protocol.
After the second royal baby is delivered and when the royal family is ready to go out of the hospital, they are expected to head to Kensington Palace, their official residence. A source says that instead of staying with the Middletons (Kate's side) just like what they did after Prince George's was born, the royal family will move in to where Prince Charles resides. The family will stay there for two days after which they will go to their second home at Anmer Hall, the Royal family's country estate in Norfolk. It was Prince Charles who made the request since he was said to be complaining about not being able to see his grandson George for a long time. This would mean that the Middletons would have to make a three-hour trip to see their new grandchild.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry might not be able to see his new nephew or niece since he has already went back to Australia. After his short stint in London for the London Marathon, he is back in Australia for a commitment with the army.
Kate Middleton is said to be 4 days past her due date but as much as she and Prince William are expecting their second royal baby anytime this week, the whole world cannot also wait to meet him.
