Royalists waiting outside the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital in London were tearful after receiving breakfast treats from Prince William and Kate Middleton. The boxes of goodies were wrapped in pink ribbons prompting fans to think that the couple might be expecting a baby girl.
INSTANT BREKKY
According to a report, royal fans have spent the night on Monday outside the said hospital were the Duchess of Cambridge is expected to deliver their second baby. Kate Middleton and Prince William were touched seeing a group of people carrying Union flags. They then sent staff from the royal household to buy breakfast from coffee shops near the hospital. Not only the royal couple was touched but the royalists as well. They were surprised to see 10 cups of coffee, 2 boxes containing a fruit bun, apple turnovers, 2 Danish pastries and 4 croissants when they awoke. One royal fan said they were actually thinking of eating at McDonalds until the goodies came. They were personally delivered by royal staff on Tuesday morning as the couple's gift of gratitude for the fans' support. One said they found the couple thoughtful that they will definitely send back a thank you card.
A PRINCESS?
The boxes were wrapped in pink ribbons and this gives rise to speculations on the possibility that the royal couple might be expecting a baby girl. Another source however clarified that according to royal insiders, the color was just a coincidence. It said that pink was really the color of the ribbon used by the shop where the treats were bought. Even the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge themselves do not know the sex of their baby. They have earlier said that they want it to come as a surprise.
This is not the first time that die-hard fans of Prince William and Kate Middleton have camped out for days just to take a glimpse of a royal baby.
