Assassin's Creed: Victory Update: Game on-track for a Q4 2015 release; Formal announcement at E3

By

After being leaked out last December and the leaks being confirmed to be genuine, Assassin's Creed: Victory is apparently on the way to a Q4 2015 release.

While the leak was verified, the formal announcement regarding the game is expected to be done at the Electronic Expo (E3) in Los Angeles on June 16-18.

"It is always unfortunate when internal assets, not intended for public consumption, are leaked. And, while we certainly welcome anticipation for all of our upcoming titles, we're disappointed for our fans, and our development team, that this conceptual asset is now public. The team in our Quebec studio has been hard at work on the particular game in question for the past few years, and we're excited to officially unveil what the studio has been working on at a later date," Ubisoft said in the statement.

"We've created 500, 600, 700 years worth of history that we hope to start teasing out for the next 10, 20 years or however long we're around. I particularly love the lore. I've been working the past two years, with all the other writers, on getting a great document together on the First Civilization," Assassin's Creed series writer Darby McDevitta said in an interview, which backs up all the hard work put into the project.

Anyway, a lot of groups have been posting their expectations online regarding the Assassin's Creed: Victory. That includes the year-end release, and a better story compared to its predecessor which received mixed response.

The Assassin's Creed: Victory is the ninth installment of the series, and is most likely set in the 19th century London Victorian Era. It is made for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms. In addition, a grappling hook item is confirmed. It will function to attach on any surface and allows for quick escapes and entrances, and has been a mainstay in the game series.
