Kate Middleton has given birth to a healthy baby girl on Saturday wherein her name will be announced anytime now. Even after just having given birth, many have noticed how the Duchess of Cambridge looked gorgeous as she emerged at St. Mary's Hospital.
According to a tweet from Kensington Palace, Kate Middleton was admitted to the hospital at 6:00 am on Saturday after travelling by car from the palace. It said the Duchess of Cambridge delivered her daughter at 8:34 on the same morning weighing 8 lbs and 3 oz. Prince William was present during the delivery in which Kate and the baby were said to be in good health. Prince George was also able to see his little sister after he was fetched by his father from the palace.
Meanwhile over at Buckingham palace, as part of tradition, the announcement was made with the use of an easel. By evening, the royal couple together with their princess left the hospital and went straight to Kensington Palace where the Middletons paid a visit. Prince Charles and Camilla were also able to witness their granddaughter. Before that, Kate and Prince William were greeted by a crowd as they went out of the hospital. Kate was wearing a floral yellow dress that matched the color of the royal baby's hood. Prince Harry, who is currently in Australia, has a message for his niece, "She is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to meet her", he was quoted by Kensington Palace.
While many have sent their congratulatory messages to the couple, many also noticed how Kate Middleton looked striking, barely ten hours after going into labor. In a report, a blogger analyzed that Kate must have needed a lot of make-up to cover the pressure put on by spectators for the arrival of another royal baby.
A report said Kate had to be prepped up by her hairdresser. The royal couple will return to their country home at Anmer Hall in Norfolk wherein the baby, whose name is yet to be announced, will be met by the Queen. Charlotte remains to be the top name choice among bookies.
Kate Middleton and Prince William expressed their gratitude to the hospital staff as well as the many royal fans for their continued support.
