True to its name, Scandal Season 4 will end with general chaos, drama, and more than the usual shocking deaths that left even the cast members incredulous.
Speaking before the Director's Guild of America, the cast presented juicy spoilers about the show with Guillermo Diaz who plays the role of Huck declaring the next episode on May 7 would be "a really dark" one, and that the finale episode on May 14 will be its biggest ever.
An earlier report by People had Diaz saying there would be three more deaths before the season is over.
Diaz has also shared his thoughts when reading the final episode script, "My first thought was how happy I was that Huck gets to do what he does in the finale. I can't believe what Shonda has him doing."
Bellamy Young who plays Mellie Grant in the series referred to the Scandal Season 4 finale episode as one where showrunner "Shonda has shown no mercy," according to Variety.
Scandal star Kerry Washington candidly shared her reaction when she learned of the specifics of the final episode, "This finale episode, I mean, I just... I turned to Shonda [Rhimes]. I was like, 'Where do we go from here? Are you for real? Now what?' It's crazy."
Katie Lowes who plays the role of Quinn Murphy gave hints that the next episode will take on the military. Lowes' Quinn was tortured by Diaz' Huck in an earlier episode directed by Oliver Bokelberg who returns to direct the penultimate show.
TV Guide's synopsis for Finale Episode 22 titled "You Can't Take Command" describes Olivia and her team as making bold moves to defeat Command, while Mellie's election results are in.
Next Thursday's Scandal Season 4 episode 21 is titled "A Few Good Women" with the synopsis describing "A brazen Vice President Ross hires Olivia to defend a female member of the Navy, creating problems for Fitz' administration. Elsewhere, Quinn and Huck search for answers about B613; and Mellie's senatorial campaign is plagued with difficulties."
Scandal Season 4 airs Thursdays 9pm over ABC.
