"Star Trek 3" which is actually the thirteenth "Star Trek" movie is rumored to settle into a direct and simplistic title "Star Trek Beyond".
The said heading has been registered in the Motion Picture Association of American (MPAA) giving a little more authenticity to the hearsays that the next Trek movie will come out under the banner of "Star Trek Beyond".
With this there will be continuity to the trend that began with "Star Trek into Darkness" in line with the rebooted "Star Trek" themes installment. This movie is aiming to recapture the joy of discovery and exploring uncharted areas of "the final frontier" that defined the original Star Trek TV show, as written by Screen Rant.
On the side note, after announcement of Sofia Boutella's casting as a lead role, speculations arose of what she would portray in the movie.
One thing every Trek fan know though is that the blade-legged assassin Gazelle in "Kingsman: The Secret Service" would be part of the evil clan in the movie, maybe as a "Klingon" or "Rumolan Commander" or better yet be introduced as completely new character.
Could it be that she may join forces with Idris Elba (Avengers: Age of Ultron) in the evil department and together form the unbeatable villain duo?
Simon Pegg, who portrays Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott and co-writing the movie at the same time with Doug Jung, told MTV that the antagonist role being circled by Elba is a "kick-ass" new addition to the franchise.
"It will be (an original character), yes. This is the five-year mission now, we're out there. We don't always have to keep bumping into the same people... So we're gonna try and reflect that in the movie."
Boutella's physical skills is one of her good investments to which can get her so far in her acting roles. It is not hard to picture out coming.
The filming begins this June with Justin Lin from Fast and Furious directing the movie and J.J Abrams producing.
"Star Trek 3" is targeting July 8, 2016 release date in the cinemas which also happens to be exactly two months to the day before the franchise's 50th Anniversary.
