While "Witcher" fans had been anticipating the upcoming release of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," which would be out in roughly a couple of weeks, several reports around the gaming community provide further proof of how awesome the game would be, especially when it came to its graphic quality.
The development team behind the upcoming "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" had been answering questions on Twitter from anticipating fans in the past few days while everybody waited for the upcoming launch of the action role-playing video game. Among the queries the were answered would be regarding the size of the subtitles and the game's graphic quality especially without the "odd compression" fans were experiencing when watching the game trailers on YouTube, based on a report from DualShockers.
Apart from that, CD Projekt RED community & website coordinator Marcin Momot said they had to tone down the gore in the Arab region so that the game would be permitted in that location. Momot said that "You can slice people in half. There will be less blood and the guts won't be as visible. You have to understand one thing - if we didn't tone it down for this particular region, we wouldn't be able to release the game there at all."
Meanwhile, CD Projekt RED also announced that it would be unraveling a new trailer for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt;" the trailer, "Rage & Steel," was posted May 07th on "The Witcher" YouTube channel, based on a report from ComingSoon. The trailer featured Geralt battling men and monsters; players should expect much blood and gore as well as a few heads rolling as Geralt fights his way to survival.
However, that would not be all as the trailer also featured Ciri, Geralt's apprentice, at the latter part where she mutilates a few hardened men who tried to block her path. Ciri, as was mentioned in earlier reports, would also be a playable character in certain parts of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt."
On the other hand, "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" developers also warned players of buying "pre-purchase PC codes" from online shop Green Man Gaming (GMG), based on a report from GameInformer. CD Projekt RED business development manager Rafał Jaki said that they did not know where GMG got the codes they were selling; Jaki explained that "we had not sold them keys and don't know the origin of them."
Jaki added that GMG was a former "legit partner" of CD Projekt RED with "Witcher 2." However, currently they would not be partnered with GMG and the game developers were wondering where GMG got the codes. Jaki said that "We control all digital and the codes, and because we decided not to sell Keys to GMG, it came as a surprise that they are doing a special promo without buying keys from us. We have reached out to ask for the source of the keys, but up until now there was no response. They might sell nVidia keys (which are not to be sold but gifted with the nVidia promo), or they just bough keys from GOG just like a regular customer, and now they resell them with a loss (we cannot prevent anyone from selling something)."
For all the anticipating fans, CD Projekt RED's statement above regarding where to buy the PC codes should be a gentle reminder especially as the game would be nearing its release on May 19th. "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" would be launched on the PS4, Xbox One and the PC.
