By

There's hope for fans of the game Fallout - it seems that there are hints that Bethesda Softworks is planning to announce the game's fourth installment at this year's E3 press conference. But don't get too excited yet, rumors are circulating that Fallout 4 will only be announced this year (if ever), and the actual launch won't be until 2016.

Since the release of the series' last installment, Fallout 3, in 2008, there has been a lot of hoax regarding new additions to the series. But we have to keep in mind that these false announcements were done by websites and sources other than Bethesda Sorftworks, so it wasn't surprising when they turned out to be hoaxes.

But this time around, it has been confirmed that the company is set to join this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) and rumors are that they are planning to make a huge announcement regarding the Fallout series. According to the rumor, Bethesda Softworks might present a half-hour detailed demo regarding Fallout 4 at the end of the expo, and that will signal the launch of the new game.

While this might be true, one must remember the hoaxes of the past. But fans shouldn't lose hope, since the company announced its attendance in this year's E3, this could mean that they are on to something and might announce something related to Fallout 4. Why else would they join the E3? After all, they did promise to make announcements soon.

And id the rumors are true, that Bethesda Softworks will indeed announce the new Fallout 4 during the Expo, it might not be until 2016 that the company will release the game. Still, that;s something to look forward to.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo will be held on June 16-18, and until then, we'll just have to wait and see what Bethesda Softworks is up to regarding Fallout 4.
