Sony Xperia Z4 Compact, which is rumored to debut May of this year, might be coming ahead of its flagship, the Xperia Z4. Although it comes with a much smaller build, it will still house powerful features that it shares with its big brother Z4.
Here are some of the interesting features that we might enjoy with Sony's next smartphone: As for its design and build, Z4 Compact will move out of the traditional glass case and will go for the metal unibody instead. One report also notes that it will employ a fingerprint sensor, reported Master Herald.
Just as when the speculation of a redesigned power button started to gain acceptance, a recently leaked image shows that Sony has decided to remain faithful to the hallmark for its devices by keeping the button to where we usually find it.
As previously stated, it will come with a much smaller display with 4.5 or 4.7 inches. It will run on a Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory. It is also expected to be packed with the latest Android Lollipop 5.1, reported Christian Today.
Phone Arena also made a report that the Compact version will be available this 13th of May with the model no. SO-04G. Xperia Z4 with model number SO-03G/SOV31 was announced last month and it is reportedly being sold in Japan, reported Christian Post.
This, however, was not confirmed and it was found out that it was a refreshed edition of the Xperia Z3 model, which is called Xperia Z3 Neo.
Despite the rave for this new handset, some cannot see the logic of sending the Z4 Compact ahead of Sony Xperia Z4. Business analysts, think that the deviation is not possible as the flagship should come first which will serve as the standard of comparison.
