Elizabeth Banks, the new director of the franchise 'Pitch Perfect' debuted in her first directorial project, the 'Pitch Perfect 2.' After a scandal that caused the Barden Bellas to get suspended, they are back to redeem their throne of being the champion.
The Barden Bellas are back to make amazing blending of voices, and new characters that will definitely make us pitch slapped. Anna Kendrick as Beca, Rebel Wilson as Fat Amy, Hana Mae Lee as Lilly, Brittany Snow as Chloe, Alexis Knapp as Stacie, Anna Camp as Aubrey, Ester Dean as Cynthia Rose, Shelley Regner as Ashley and Kelley Jakle as Jessica all reprised their roles for the 'Pitch Perfect 2.' Two brand-new Bellas will also appear in the movie. Hailee Steinfield (Emily) wants to follow her mother's legacy and Chrissie Fit (Flo), a transfer student.
Also, the Green Bay Packers are featured in the movie. They are composed of the six superfans named Josh Sitton, Jordan Rodgers, Clay Matthews, T.J. Lang, David Barclay and David Bakhtiari. They were casted because they impressed the filmmakers after showing their unbelievable knowledge of the movie's dance moves,songs and lines.
As for the plot, the Bellas will travel to Denmark to win the World Championships of A Cappella. And their toughest enemy on stage, the German group Das Sound Machine, is led by Kommissar and her sidekick Pieter Kramer. Will they prove their girl power mashup on stage?
Last Friday night at Nokia L.A. in Los Angeles, the 'Pitch Perfect 2' undeniably made it to premiere greatly. Casts were present, including the team who made the movie as well. There, the cast said that there were already talks about the sequel of the 'Pitch Perfect 2', though the coming movie was not released yet.
Written by Kay Cannon (30 Rock, TV's New Girl) and produced by Max Handelman, Elizabeth Banks and Paul Brooks, Pitch perfect will come out on theaters May 15.
