"Black Panther" is one of MCU's epic offerings in their Phase 3 to kick off on 2016. The first solo movie of the Wakanda-born superhero will focus on his origins and will be set in his motherland. This set-up entails the death of the father of T'Challa, which could be his driving force for truly accepting his new identity as the "Black Panther."
Marvel has revealed that "Black Panther" will be getting a solo film during the studio's big reveal of the movies comprising their phases. It was also announced that Chadwick Boseman will be the face of Marvel's new superhero.
"Black Panther" is not slated to drop until 2017 but Marvel has already laid the groundwork for his definite entrance in the MCU. "Avengers: Age of Utron," has shooting location in South Africa that makes the comics fans wonder if it is the fictional place called Wakanda, where T'Challa is born.
According to a report, "Black Panther" will focus on T'Challa's life before being a superhero and his reason for accepting a huge responsibility. Marvel could browse some comics and include the death of T'Chaka, the King of African Nation of Wakanda and the father of T'Challa. He was murdered by Klaw, who could be the movie's notorious villain, just to get a hold of the precious metal Vibranium.
Captain America's famous shield is made of Vibranium, which could hint T'Challa's involvement in "Captain America: Civil War," the movie that will debut new Marvel superheroes including the Black Panther.
T'Challa's known abilities include his impeccable formulation of strategies and his animal mimicry. Coming from a race of warriors, he masters armed combat and the use of various weapons plus his unique hybrid fighting style incorporates acrobatics.
"Black Panther" will make a debut in Marvel's Phase 3 opener "Captain America: Civil War" on 2016 before starring in his solo movie a year later. Possible plot sees the death of T'Challa's father, which will spark a new beginning for him as Marvel's newest superhero.
