‘Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD’ Season 2, Episode 21 and 22: Producers Reveal Deaths For Jiayang-Pioneered War; Season 3 Poster Unleashed

By

With Jiayang declaring a war between the two parties, it looks like the double-episode season finale of Marvel's hit television series "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" will be full of surprises as the Executive Producers have recently revealed that there will be number of deaths because of the initiated war. While the double-episode finale wasn't aired yet, the TV show's poster for season 3 was already teased in the social media.

It was showed on the episode 20 "Scars" that Jiayang (Dichen Lachman) framed Robert Gonzales (Edward James Olmos) or Gonzales that he's trying to kill her, when in fact, the Inhuman shot Gonzales that caused him dead. She later used his gun to shoot herself and made it look like a self-defense. That's when she began to declare a war between S.H.I.E.L.D and the Inhumans.

Now, on the double-episode finale entitled "S.O.S." part one and "S.O.S." part two, it looks like the repercussions of what Jiayang did will be dealt by the two parties. And because of the Inhuman's doing, her daughter Skye (Chloe Bennet) will confront her because of this betrayal, speculates Carter Matt. Apparently, Skye's allegiance will also be tested during this war. Will she be on the team S.H.I.E.L.D or the Inhumans?

Likewise, the "S.O.S." part one was speculated to reveal what is exactly the content of each of the three vials Cal (Kyle MacLachlan) holds. Will he turn into Mr. Hyde because of these vials' elements?

All wars have fatalities and this was actually adopted by the Executive Producers Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed Whedon, Jeffrey Bell, and Jeph Loeb as they sat with Entertainment Weekly to tease some events from the finale. The three have hinted that there will be "casualties of war" in the ending. So who are you betting to die in both parties?

So far, this season holds a lot of questions regarding every characters and the endgame of some. Worry not because the finale will cast some light according to Jeffrey Bell as he spoke with Zap2it. Similarly, the producer confirmed that a lot of things will change, but several mysteries will be uncovered. "I encourage people to watch this finale because I think we do answer a lot of the big questions, but there are a couple big teases that promise more where we've been going," Bell exclaimed.

Moreover, while the season 2 hasn't even finished, Marvel Studios is not so very patient as they recently unleashed the poster for season 3. The said poster was revealed at the TV series' official Twitter account. It features the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo with what seems like files and a tagline that reads: "Returning to Duty." Although the image is vague, it has at least implied some kind of files or office. The outside of the emblem also appears to be darkened controls of a S.H.I.E.L.D. vehicle, Screen Rant reports.

That goes now to the ultimate questions. Who will have the most casualties in both parties? Will Skye choose S.H.I.E.L.D. team? Will the finale hold a proper closure for fans? Make sure not to miss this double-episode finale to air this May 12, 9PM on ABC.
