'Ant-Man' Update: Director Peyton Reed reveals movie ending? Two-part spoiler exposed

By

The social media world was shaken once again by a personality, and that is Peyton Reed, director of the upcoming movie 'Ant-Man.' He tweeted earlier this Tuesday that he would tell what the ending of the film 'Ant-Man' would be. Well, goodness gracious, he was only joking.

Movie director Peyton Reed posted online that he was going to give the spoilers for the movie 'Ant-Man.' His first tweet was "In a major act of self-sabotage, I have decided to spoil the ending of ANT-MAN. Here it is, in two parts. Part One:" along with a photo. Apparently the photo was a comic strip about 'Ant-Man,' then followed with another tweet "And ANT-MAN Ending Spoiler, Part Two:" also with a photo.

But actually, the photos were just clips from the comic panels made by the famous cartoonist Fred Hembeck. It was a comic called 'Fred Hembeck Destroys the Marvel Universe' released by Marvel in 1989, where he used the character of the Clown Prince of Death, Crackers, to end the lives of the different Marvel superheroes in an amusing way.

The comic panel Reed posted was about Crackers finding 'Ant-Man' and found him fighting with Water Wizard, but he was hit out by a water spigot and threw himself at the doorstep of the old woman's house. The old woman tried to help 'Ant-Man' by picking him up and putting him inside a microwave to dry him off. And you may already know what kind of tragic ending it was for 'Ant-Man.'

Reed's joke was really fun, and it captured the attention of fans who waited for his "spoilers." If this is one of his ways to promote his movie, it's pretty one good move.

Starring Paul Rudd, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lily and Michael Douglas, the 'Ant-Man' movie will be out in theaters July 17 this year.
