Leaked photos of Samsung Galaxy S6 Active

A tipster recently gave two photos claiming to be the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. The images showed the front and back of the "rugged" version of the Galaxy S6 in black shades. The alleged Galaxy S6 Active revealed a smartphone that was "built like a tank," and just like the Galaxy S6, its design structure kept the camera and heart rate monitor layout. However, its loudspeaker was transferred to its back.

It was said to be certain that the Galaxy S6 Active won't be having the fingerprint sensor because of its "rugged buttons," which the Samsung Galaxy S5 did not also have. The source also pointed a model code of SM-G890A that was expected to offer a powerful 3500 mAh battery.

Leaked FCC certification of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active

Now, of what seemed to be just a rumor seems to be turning out as true as the alleged Galaxy S6 Active reportedly got its Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification approved. A handset with a model code SM-G890A was also approved by the FCC. Others were convinced that the FCC-approved model was the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6 Active due to the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active's previous model code of SM-G780A. The FCC ID of the S6 Active version is A3LSMG890A.
