J.K. Rowling's 'Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them' which was written in 2001 will now be ready for the film adaptation. Reports said the character Newt Scamander was offered to the Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne. The 'Harry Potter' spinoff will be under Warner Bros.

Before accepting the offer, Eddie Redmayne said he wanted the script to be finished first. And when the script was done, it was immediately handed to him and was happy about it. Director David Yates considers some actors but Redmayne might be the first choice.

Seventy years before the saga of 'Harry Potter,' there's a character named Newt Scamander, who authored a book which 'Harry Potter' used in Hogwarts. Scamander is a person who studies magical creatures, where in the world of 'Harry Potter' is called "magiczoologist."

"Although it will be set in the worldwide community of witches and wizards where I was so happy for 17 years, 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' is neither a prequel nor a sequel to the 'Harry Potter' series but an extension of the wizarding world," Rowling said.

Eddie Redmayne played the villain on 'Jupiter Ascending' together with Channing Tatum. Though the film failed to reach the box office, another movie of Redmayne which is "The Theory of Everything" became in demand where he won the Oscar award.

The "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" is not a stand-alone film but will be released in three parts. The first release will be in 2016, 1018 and 2020 respectively.

There were no other announced casts yet, aside from the two female lead that will be met in the next few days by director David Yates. It was also reported that there are still four lead roles to be filled. The movie is set to release on November 8, 2016.
