‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Season 1 Episode 23, Season 2 Spoilers: Percy joins Team Pride; Next Season sees King reconciles with Cassius?

"NCIS: New Orleans" concluded its first season with action packed scenes, Sonja Percy joining the squad led by Pride, and King's possible reconciliation with his father. CBS already gave the show an early season 2 renewal due to the show's consistently high ratings.

In "NCIS: New Orleans" season 1 finale titled, "My City," Pride and his team received intelligence that the ports have been breached, risking the Navy and Gulf Coast. As Team Pride try to put a stop to the invasion, King gathers his team to talk about Baitfish's warning about LaSalle in the previous episode. Before getting killed, he told the special agent that a storm is about to hit New Orleans.

The team then speculates that a mole must have been living somewhere in the city. Their hunch deepened when a logistic specialist was murdered at the ports and they found an open container that appears to be a hideout. King suspected Councilman Hamilton as the mole but to be sure, he consulted his imprisoned father. Cassius at first was not that much of a help with his nonchalance but later, he revealed to his son that Captain Messier is the mole, who has been tortured by a murderer named Solomon Ekpo.

Team Pride later learns that the New Orleans attacker is targeting the nuclear plant. King and LaSalle caught the terrorists already preparing to launch it. The two took down the operation successfully. Towards the end of the season 1 finale, Percy asked Pride to be part of their team to which he said yes. Then King wrote a letter to the parole board saying his father is now a changed man who deserves another chance.

CBS already gave "NCIS: New Orleans Season 2" a go as the show continues to win the Tuesday primetime. With the events in the season 1 finale, the sophomore might see Percy's adjustment as the team's new member and also the reconciliation of the Prides.

Fans of "NCIS: New Orleans" should watch out how Percy's attachment to Team Pride can help the squad in their new action-packed adventures in season 2. Also, whether or not the Prides reconciliation can benefit the NCIS is something to watch out for.
