As the third trailer of the 'Minions' came out just recently, it already gave the audience the big idea of what the movie is really all about. Well, these cute little yellow creatures are set to find out their master. But they wanted different from the cliché, they want a villain master. And in their journey, they have met the female super villain in the world - Scarlett Overkill.
The 'Minions' movie is a prequel to the 'Despicable Me.' Set in the 1960's (and that is before Gru time), the single-celled minions will travel just to find the master they want. And what they want to serve is a villain master. From a dinosaur to Napoleon, they have all killed their past masters due to their incompetence as servants.
Then one day, they've met Scarlett Overkill, where she finds the three minions Bob, Stuart and Kevin trying to steal Queen Elizabeth's crown, as this was Scarlett's task for them. All the way from New York, the minions traveled to London, in obedience to their master.
In the released trailer there was also a part where Scarlett gave them punishment, and they were put into a torture chamber. But then it happened that the executioner was the one who got tortured by the minions. And the last part, where one minion is enjoying the water in the Jacuzzi with two of his fire hydrants "bellas."
This comedy movie will no doubt make you laugh out loud, though there is no MPAA rating yet.
The "Minions" is directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda and written by Brian Lynch. "Minions" is under Universal Pictures where the voices of Sandra Bullock as Scarlett Overkill, Jon Hamm as Herb Overkill, Michael Keaton, Steve Coogan and Allison Janney are featured. As for the 'Minions' movie, it will be out on July 10 this year.
