Next week, the final three episodes will be aired on CBS' 'The Late Show.' The show host David Letterman will guest his most loved guest, or let's say his all-time favorites. Highlights for the next week's episodes are Tom Hanks, Eddie Vedder and Bill Murray.
The past weeks though were full-packed with famous guest celebrities, artists from the music industry and more. One of the guests was George Clooney, who handcuffed himself with Letterman. Also, Julia Roberts had her last appearance on 'The Late Show.' "The first time I was on this show was to promote Mystic Pizza, and as a fan of the show, did not want to come on because I had seen you absolutely dismember young actresses of my kind of peer group," Roberts said.
Every time she guests on Letterman's show, they always seem like a couple. On her 26th appearance on the show, the two had their final kiss, as in lip-lock.then, Julia Roberts gave her final message for Letterman: "I just want to say, David Letterman, I love you and I thank you for all of the joy and the laughs and the intelligence you have brought to us for 33 years."
Next week for the final episodes will be broken down into three farewell nights. As for May 18, Eddie Vedder and Tom Hanks will be the guests of the night. Vedder is expected to perform with the CBS orchestra while Tom Hanks will do again his "lovable Hanks-y thing."
On May 19, Letterman's guest will be Bill Murray who will appear on the show which will be his 44th time already. The final episode though will be a surprise one, which was reportedly be "an hour filled with surprises, memorable highlights, the show's final Top Ten List, and more."
Stephen Colbert will be replacing David Letterman on the late night show which will air on September 8.
