More details regarding Disney Infinity 3.0 has been revealed lately, confirming that their starter pack will largely contain Star Wars characters and gameplay. Disney's partner developers Avalanche Software and Ninja Theory have revealed that the two initial playsets will have different gameplays, giving players a lot more options with their gaming experiences.
As the Disney Infinity 3.0 nears it release date, more details regarding the gameplays and characters that they will include in the initial playsets that they will be releasing. It's no secret that the starter pack as well as other confirmed playsets are largely based on the Star Wars series and so the gameplays for each playsets are reportedly different.
For the starter pack Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic, gameplay is focused on the Jedi and how they harness their powers. Expect a lot of combat play, as Disney's partner game developers Avalanche Software and Ninja Theory have teamed up to deepaen the gaming experience. Players get to use lightsabers and master The Force. Players will get to play with the characters of Ahsoka Tano, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Darth Maul.
For the playset Star Wars: Rise Against The Empire, this time is more of an adventure and explorations gameplay. Players get to embark into adventures and explore the different planets across the galaxy. It is also mission-based, so players will have to complete quests both on land and in the air. It is in this playset that players will get to navigate around the galaxy and pilot x-wing fighters, or even the Millennium Falcon and fight stormtroopers. This playets will allow players to play using Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, Han Sollo, Darth Vader, or Princess Leia Organa.
There will also be separately sold Expansion Packs available right after the official launch that will allow players to use all the characters in the playsets cross-platform. Confirmed Disney Infinity 3.0 Expansion Packs are Toy Box Speedwway, a racing themed game, and Toy Box Takeover, an action-adventure game.
As release date draws nearer, it seems that Disney can no longer contain their excitement about the game and are slowly announcing new things regarding their game. We'll just have to keep our eyes open for other details that they will surely release in the coming months. Disney Infinity 3.0 is set to be released sometime this year.
