Several Minecraft title updates bring not only bug fixes for resolving issues brought by previous updates but also DLC updates like the "Pattern Texture Pack," the "Simpsons DLC patch," and "The Legend of Zelda." These patches bring fun features, but its accessibility as it is made available to all supported console platforms that brings more joy to its supporters. The excitement continues to build up as the bigger Title Update 24 release is next in line.
Minecraft developer team 4J Studios announced via Twitter that a huge Title Update is coming soon, especially for Xbox One and PS4. Whether it is TU24 or another patch the developer is referring, no one knows yet as it did not mention a name in its tweet.
4J Studios has been releasing two kinds of patches - content patch and title update - and it could be possible that the developer will bring more new patches and bug fixes all in one update through TU24. Content patches include additional items, crafting elements, and other Minecraft game elements, while title updates focus on fixing bugs and other problems.
The game's developer will be releasing a minor title patch update prior the rumored huge Title Update 24. This minor update has already arrived in the form of the latest Xbox One update. The updated patch fixes an issue where split-screen players could experience flying and floating animals within the Xbox One edition of Minecraft. Performance and game crashes have also been addressed to make gaming more convenient.
If the upcoming Minecraft Title Update is huge, then it could be a PC counterpart where its current features will also become available to video game consoles. According to Ordoh, the upcoming update will focus on bringing all the features in the current PC edition and this has made gamers waiting for the game to arrive in other platforms than PC giddy.
As a result, forums started to have discussions on what gamers want to see in console version of the game. One standout PC feature that gamers want to see are the grappling hooks while others include suggestions like more fishes and enchanted rods so they can spend more time fishing.
If the developer will be consistent with its standard release cycle, upcoming patches will arrive every month and will be pushed to all console platforms on the release day. Another thing is for sure, the developer will publish the patch notes a day before the title update release date as they did in the past.
Minecraft DLC, Title Updates, and more like console-based Minecraft games are set to arrive in one of the upcoming updates prepared by 4J Studios, the team that has been doubling its efforts to make PC features available to other platforms as quickly as possible. This includes the mobile version and PS Vita Edition.
