True Detective Season 2 Premiere, Spoilers: Rachel McAdams on missing girl case and talks about Ani Bezzerides; New HBO series trailer revealed

The True Detective season 2 premiere, spoilers are going about, especially since a new trailer has been released recently. The HBO crime and action TV series will kick off its second season on June 21.

Nic Pizzolatto, who is the series creator and writer, will use Los Angeles as the main setting, where the characters will investigate on various cases. HollywoodTake gives a closer look on the latest teaser video, which is able to reveal more events compared to the first one.

The one-minute trailer shows some very intense, yet mysterious action. Each of the main characters had a scene showing their own issues, where a few lines were leaked. Vince Vaughn's character, Frank Semyon, is collaborating with some people and says, "Sometimes your worst self is your best self." Afterwards, he appears in a room that is burning.

Collin Farrell's character, Ray Velcoro, is seated behind a desk and his voice goes, "My strong suspicion is we get the world we deserve." Paul Woodrugh, portrayed by Taylor Kitsch, appears in a club scene where he is experiencing some confusion as he says, "This isn't me doing this. This isn't me."

Among the cast of True Detective season 2, Rachel McAdams' gets more of a reveal as her role, Ani Bezzerides, says, "This girl's gone missing. Nobody cares. The interior's poisoned and suddenly worth billions. Nobody cares." She shows herself in action as she is running with a gun. In another scene, she is repeatedly stabbing a tall block of wood with a knife.

McAdams further teases about her role, as she in interviewed for Marie Claire's June issue, according to Breathecast. She says, "I love the exploration of someone who has such a different background from you... I love that she's not the girlfriend or the wife... She doesn't really care what everyone thinks; she feels no responsibility for other people's feelings. She's not trying to be charming, which isn't always the case with a leading lady."

Fans will surely look forward to the True Detective season 2 premiere, spoilers helping to establish the point. It only shows that despite the change in directors and in the cast, viewers will still be in for something great, or even better.
