The Joker and Harley Quinn are taking spotlight again for the 'Suicide Squad'. An amateur footage was leaked during the ongoing principal photography of the Warner Bros. Pictures upcoming movie.
Suicide Squad's marketing machine teased its audineces with a green-haired Jared Leto and co-star Margot Robbie as a still normal Harley Quinn in a couple tiff . The said trailer which has now been collected into several images shows the Joker almost running Harley over with a speeding car. Both of them eventually kiss and make up which prompts Harley to shot a civilian who couldn't made his own business. She immediately points the gun at the Joker wherein Harley immediately receives a slap to the face as he secures the weapon from her.
Last week, fans were treated to photos of Harley Quinn but that time around the once psychiatrist turned loony was in all her costume glory with Will Smith who plays Deadshot. One of the still images from the upcoming movie showed Deadshot lifting Harley Quinn into his arms from a car roof heavily drizzled with fake rain.
There have already been a lot of speculations regarding a brewing romance between the expert marksman and the Joker's Pumkin-Pie. For fans this will be quite loyal to the comicbook storyline as both develop ia queer budding romance all their own. Audiences will expect a love triangle of sorts in the upcoming movie between the Joker, Harley Quinn and Deadshot.
In related news, art may have imitated life or the other way around. Smith and Robbie who were also co-stars in 2015's romantic comedy drama Focus. Their on-screen pairing though didn't just ignite the screen as it also ignited the wrath of Smith's long time wife Jada Pinkett Smith. Smith's wife of 18 years isn't quite keen that the actor will again be in the same set with the sultry 24-year-old Aussie actress.
Suicide Squad is scheduled to be released on August 5, 2016.
