Rise of the Tomb Raider Update: Leaked Concept Art shows intense Landscapes for Lara Croft’s adventures; Xbox Boss explains timed exclusive deal

By

Rise of the Tomb Raider continues to tease fans about Lara Croft's adventures as new concept art have been released on the internet. Of course, this does not reveal anything concrete about the game, let alone give an idea what it will be like in live action. However, gamers who just want to get a hold of something new about Crystal Dynamic's title will have to get their satisfaction from these for now.

Four photos have been shared in an article from BleedingCool. So far, most people already know that Rise of the Tomb Raider will transpire in Siberia. A lot of other information, on the other hand, are still a blur. Thus, hope that E3 will give a lot of announcements is something fans are really holding on to.

Going back to the concept art on Rise of the Tomb Raider that was leaked, it really showed how Crystal Dynamics is giving their attention to the landscape. It shows a lot of heights, even one image with Lara Croft swinging herself towards what looks like a temple passage amidst a lot of snow. Another piece of art also shows something of a battlefield at sunset, where Lara is on top of a mountain, looking over a view with smoke and planes.

While there is still no exact release date for Rise of the Tomb Raider, PC Advisor says that it is currently set on Winter 2015. Of course, with delays happening in other popular titles, a deferral for this one is something gamers could prepare for. In terms of the console to be supported, there would be a timed exclusive deal for Xbox One and Xbox 360.

It would be no surprise if PC and PS4 users feel a bit disappointed or frustrated about this. Phil Spencer who heads the Xbox company gets an interview with Eurogamer and tries to explain this deal. He said the agreement would lead to a mutual benefit, "I think it could help the franchise in the long run and help Crystal and Square and us."

Rise of the Tomb Raider has been teasing fans for quite some time now. With its release to be on Winter of 2015, gamers should expect more vital information to come soon over the internet and in the nearing E3 in June 2015.
