Fujifilm X-T10, the compact version of the well-reviewed X-T1 is will be available to fans and photo enthusiasts in June. Its Fujifilm's handy version of a professional camera packed in a more affordable price.
Fujifilm is recognizing the growing population of photo enthusiasts which has went beyond professional photographers. Photography is no longer exclusively defined as a profession; it has become a hobby, an entertainment, a bonding activity and even a type of therapy.
It is seen in all demographic brackets; professional and non-professional. Regardless of whether it's a fading fad or a lasting interest, one thing's for sure: compared before, there are more individuals now who set aside a significant portion of their income in pursuit of a professional camera for the activity - or at least something that closely resembles one. Fujifilm X-T10 is the perfect epitome of a camera bearing professional features packed in a light and handy device with a substantially lower price tag. The Fujifilm X-T10 price is around $800 which is more or less $500 cheaper than the X-T1. Although Sony and Olympus offers the same type of camera for a price of around $500, X-T10 has banks on its features in the competition.
The main highlights for the X-T10 features are its new dials for enhanced operability, 920K-dot tilting LCD, lighter and more compact body, new AF Zone and Wide/Tracking modes, X-Trans CMOS II sensor and EXR Processor II, film simulation "Classic Chrome" and real time viewfinder. All these photography features are now more accessible to most individuals and it promises better than ever shots.
X-T10 has a 16.3 MP imaging chip and uses 77 autofocus sensors; fit for good action photography. It offers three frame by frame shots of 3 x 3, 3 x 5 and 5 x 5. Fujifilm brags that X-T10 has a 5-millisecond interval between pressing the shutter and taking the shot.
Fujifilm and the rest of the industry leaders are coming up with a more affordable and handy professional camera with more features added in each release. Maybe someday it'll have a call and text capability too.
