The first saga of Avengers: Infinity War is still in a far-flung future. Nevertheless, Hollywood's new box-office talent Chris Pratt gave some few insights on the prospect of him rubbing elbows with the Avengers.

In a recent interview with GQ for the upcoming "Jurassic World", the once chubby side-kick for television's Parks and Recreation explained that his agreement with Marvel Studios in particular might give Star-Lord the chance to help kick some butt in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War against the Mad Titan.

"I'm tied to doing three more, or five more, 'Guardians of the Galaxy' or whatever it is, you know, two more 'Guardians' plus another couple," Pratt hinted that his character will have cameo appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn also gave his points with the 36-year-old's transition from the television screen to the big Hollywood stage.

"I think that he had gotten a lot of success over the past few years being the funny sidekick, which means that he always has to juggle to entertain everybody. And the truth is, Chris didn't trust himself to just be Chris Pratt-and how desirable that is to an audience."

Pratt's career has definitely gone beyond the cosmos of Guardians of the Galaxy in particular with next month's long-awaited theatrical release of "Jurassic World" were the actor plays a park staff cum velociraptor trainer.

In related news to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thor 3: Ragnarok which won't be shown in theaters until November 3, 2017, has also debunked rumors regarding the epic Avengers: Infinity War. The said installment of the Asgardian hero will set the stage for 'Infinity War' specifically with one of the Infinity Gems in the Norse God's realm.

The two sequels, Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1 and Avengers: Infinity War - Part 2, are scheduled to be released on May 4, 2018, and May 3, 2019, respectively.
