The search engine company is setting the LG Nexus 2015 to "target the high-end" market while the Huawei Nexus 2015 is to "aim for the low-cost market." Specs about the Huawei Mate 8 were leaked, speculated that it is the rumored Huawei Google Nexus 2015.

Artem Russakovskii noted sources saying that two Nexus devices are in the making and he said, "We've seen reports of a possible Huawei Nexus phone before, and the day before this new article here came out, one of our good sources reached out to say there is indeed a Huawei Nexus planned, in 5.7-inch size." Further, he said, "What's more interesting, the source also mentioned a second Nexus phone this year - an LG, with a planned 5.2-inch screen size." In other words, two Google Nexus devices would be released: a LG Nexus 2015 and Huawei Nexus 2015. This would potentially contend against iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
Huawei Mate 8 and LG G4 specs

The drip showed that it has a 6-inch screen size, 2560 x 1440 pixel, octa-core Kirin 930 processor, 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB or 64 GB of storage, microSD slot, 20.7 MP rear camera, 8 MP front camera, fingerprint sensor, and run an Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
Both Nexus devices may have tweaks on some specs and features, and that these may come out running the Android M OS and Project Fi subscriptions.
