"Young and Restless" actress Melody Thomas-Scott recently hinted several details on what's to come for her character in the CBS soap. Scott, who plays the role of Nikki Reed Newman in the series, revealed that Nikki will finally hit rock bottom as she continues to wallow her problems with alcohol.
Scott did not reveal the specifics on what will happen to Nikki once she continues to get herself drunk while staying at the GCAC alone. The actress, however, hinted that Nikki will hit "the skids in a way that neither the fans nor anyone in Genoa City has ever seen."
Scott also admitted that what will happen to Nikki will be even worse than her past incident with Deacon and that her children, Nicholas and Victoria will begin to intervene. The actress also hinted of a possible romance blossoming between Neil and Nikki.
"It would be the most unlikely pairing, yet it also makes sense because they share the same addiction and they've known each other forever," Scott said.
As seen on the Tuesday, May 19 episode of "Young and the Restless," Neil tried to defend Nikki and asked Victor to settle things down. Victor, on the other hand, threatened Neil with his job. The two also shared quite an intimate scene together while drinking at the dive bar.
Meanwhile, Y&R spoilers from She Knows Soaps reveal that on Friday, May 22, an unexpected guest arrives at the Newman-Abbott merger party.
Rumor has it that the real Jack will be the unexpected guest, as he has finally escaped from Kelly's captivity. Lily will also have an intense confrontation with Devon and Hilary.
