The release of Elder Scrolls 6, from the looks of the current situation, will not be coming any time soon. However, more details on the quality of the gameplay and even the setting are being hinted by certain reports. This will give players enough time to think how they will receive the game or even discuss amongst fans what they think of the possible features.
Although it is Bethesda's first time to join in the E3, it appears as though they won't be aiming for a grand entry by giving details on all their big games. According to MasterHerald, the developer is somehow choosing between Fallout 4 and Elder Scrolls 6, when it comes to making a reveal for the E3. The same report says that Bethesda is likely to give announcements for Fallout 4 instead.
Considering that Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has attained marked success, even until the present, it is possible, as reported in iDigitalTimes, that Bethesda intends to capitalize on what the title is bringing for a while longer before launching the 6th game.
In 2011, the developer trademarked "Redguard," which was the name rumoured to be the title for Elder Scrolls 6. However, there are doubts as to whether this will move forward as it does not follow the trends in trademarking for the title.
Both in Oblivion and Skyrim, the names were trademarked on the same year their respective titles were released, which were respectively in 2002 and 2006. The possibility of having Elder Scrolls 6: Redguard is getting slimmer with each moment passing.
Another speculated title for the 6th release would be "Argonia." This was used to refer to the game in an article online. The same source also suggests that Elder Scrolls VI will be more like Morrowind than Skyrim. This is because the former is able to deliver more action and engagement from the player.
The Elder Scrolls 6 still has a lot of mysteries to unfold for its fans in terms of its gameplay and features, as well as its release date. Fans should cross their fingers that Bethesda would give some updates on the title during the E3, although Fallout 4 seems to be a priority.
