The EuphoriaOS Android 5.1.1 Lollipop has been rolled out to several handsets, including Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z1, Z2, and Z3. All these devices had positive response to the update, giving no signs of usual Lollipop-related issues like memory leak, battery drain, and random reboot.

As this custom ROM has been updated to the Android 5.1.1, Samsung Galaxy S4 users can expect an AOSP-like experience with some additional customizable features. There has been very good feedback for this update and considering it as a first build has made it all the more impressive.

Compared to Google's Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update, there have been no complaints flooding forums due to major issues like battery drain and memory leak bug. Many are also happy that they no longer have to do random reboot after downloading the update. With EuphoriaOS Android 5.1.1 on board, smartphones apps are running fast and smooth.

Earlier this custom firmware released Android 5.0.2 update for Nexus 5, with the following changelog: Theme chooser fixes, expanded desktop to fix Left handed navbar during landscape mode, profiles: fix no home or recent button when lock screen is disabled on boot, custom animations - System - ListView - Toast, add back status bar date style option, MMS: Per conversation notification settings/ringtones.

Nexus 5 that has been updated to Google's Android 5.1.1, however, showed issues with camera which happens whenever third-party or stack app is activated. This camera crashing bug can be resolved by doing a hard reboot, although it continues to appear when HDR+ option is enabled.

Euphoria OS features include OSP based, unencrypted, disabled tether checking, IME selector notification control, advanced reboot, and Adb notification control. Other features include long press back to kill, CPU info overlay, Status bar brightness control, superuser built-in, show battery percent, option to disable lock screen carrier label.

The EuphoriaOS Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update has also been released on Samsung Galaxy Nexus GT-I9250. Other Nexus handsets are said to be next in line.
