CBS' Survivor: Worlds Apart, the 30th season of the reality TV show, just ended airing last week. While the end is still fresh, people are already excited for the 31st season which is subtitled as Cambodia - Second Chance.
From the title itself, we know now that we'll see previous seasons' castaways. The question now is, who?
CBS Broadcasting Inc. had posted a poll on their official website on who will have the second chance. The producers of the show personally picked 32 ex-contestants to be included in the poll and let the public vote for the top 20. The residents of the United States, Canada and Australia were the only people allowed to vote in the poll.
During the season finale last weak, May 20, the castaways for the next season are finally revealed.
Joe Anglim, Vytas Baskauskas, Spencer Bledsoe, Jeremy Collins, Terry Deitz, Cier Eastin, Stephen Fishbach, Latasha "Tasha" Fox, Abi-Maria Gomes, Yung "Woo" Hwang, Kimmi Kappenberg, Peith-Gee Law, Kassandra "Kass" McQuillen, Keith Nale, Shirin Oskooi, Monica Padilla, Andrew Savage, Jeff Varner, Kelley Wentworth and Kelly Wiglesworth.
Aside from that, series finale also revealed the 30th season's winner: Mike Holloway.
The 20 official castaways of Survivor: Cambodia - Second Chance are now ready to battle it out and outwit themselves and win the million dollar grand prize in Cambodia. They are all there already to start shooting.
But die hard fans of the reality show questions the competency of 4 classic players in the modern play. Kelly, Kimmi, Jeff and Andrew are the only castaways that are from older Survivor series, from seasons 1 to 10. And a lot of things already changed in the gameplay. Will they cope up?
The 31st season will start shooting this May 29 and will end in July 5, leaving the city life for 39 days.
