"Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage" Chapter 5 is finally here and the most-awaited reunion between Sasuke and Sarada took place. Chapter 4 left many fans hanging when Sasuke thrust his sword on Sarada when he failed to recognize that she was his daughter.
In the latest chapter of "Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage," Sarada immediately recognizes Sasuke and calls her father after thrusting his sword on her. Chou Chou and Naruto enter the room and Sasuke demands to know why the children came with him. Sarada begins to lash out on Sasuke and demands information about him, why he was gone for 12 years, and who was the girl beside him and her mother, Sakura. The poor Sarada only heard the words, "This has nothing to do with you" from her father, so she walks out of the room.
At the village, Sakura begins to worry about Sarada. She finds out that Sarada found out about the girl in the picture and decides to follow after her.
Sasuke, on the other hand, acts like nothing happened and begins to discuss with Naruto that an enemy that's scarier than Kaguya is lurking in the dark. The rest agree on keeping it a secret from the others until they prove that what Sasuke's saying is right. Sasuke tells Naruto that he needs to go back and protect the village.
Outside, Naruto sees Sarada and tries to comfort her by saying that Sasuke is an admirable ninja when Sakura arrives.
Meanwhile, the leader of the new Akatsuki has taken off his cloak and shows his right eye. He tells everyone in his army that the time has come for the resurrection of the Akatsuki. Shin and his father begin to attack Naruto and the battle begins, as Sasuke meets the new Akatsuki leader and clashes eyes with him.
Fans are speculating that "Naruto Gaiden" Chapter 6 will cover the exciting battle between the "Shins," who were seemingly an army with white zetsu and sharingan. A user named "GOOMOONRYONG" theorizes that the new Akatsuki that the leader talked about came before Nagato and Madara. He may have founded the Akatsuki together with Obito/Tobi.
A user named "Suzaku" explained that the Mangekyou pattern in Chapter 5 did not resemble that of Obito or Shisui's sharingan. The user also noted that Shin, his father, and the rest of the army seemingly shared the same sharingan pattern.
