"Arrow" cast members Willa Holland and Karl Yune recently weighed in on the future of their respective characters, Thea McQueen and Maseo.
While speaking at MCM London, Yune revealed that Maseo could return to the upcoming fourth season of the CW series despite already being killed by his wife Tatsu (Rila Fukushima).
Yune also revealed that "Arrow" creator Marc Guggenheim previously told him to not make any plans because he should still reprise his role on the show, Screen Rant reported. Meanwhile, Holland also talked about her character Thea and the possibility of having a Speedy storyline next season.
"For her future in season four man... yeah, I just hope that she keeps wearing that costume as much as possible, and maybe gets a yellow one with a cape or something, I don't know," she said.
Thea's yellow cape serves as a reference to one of the character's most popular incarnations. Just recently, Thea was featured wearing a red robe for the first time.
In other news, Holland previously spoke with Flickering Myth where she dished on Harley Quinn's future on "Arrow."
Back in season 2, "Arrow" creators already showed Harley Quinn on the CW series. Fans were looking forward to seeing her again on the show but it was recently confirmed that Harley Quinn's involvement will be put on hold momentarily because she will be part of "Suicide Squad."
Other publications noted that Harley Quinn will no longer be part of "Arrow" not only in season 4 but also for all the upcoming seasons of the series. Holland confirmed that the "Arrow" creators had big plans, Latin Post noted.
"We had big plans for Harley but I guess, something came down from DC execs that told us to shut it down. I mean we had that tease with the pigtails and the ARGUS outfit but, we'll never see it. We would love to see Harley in 'Arrow' but it will never happen," the execs said at that time.
"Arrow" season 4 will return to the CW in October.
