Slightly Mad Studios just released Project CARS patch 1.3 on Xbox One which introduces quite a lot of fixes for the game.
Project CARS received positive response from critics and gamers for its realistic approach in car racing - from audio and visuals to car control and specs.
The game is not without a few kinks and bumps however, so Slightly Mad Studios has been working overtime to address any issues that are slowly being discovered since being released less than a month ago to make sure Project CARS does not lose momentum.
The occasional crashes experienced on the game's online mode when moving from Qualifying to Race round and when returning to Race Central after a race. For Xbox users, steering issues and jolting problems have been addressed.
Improvements can be seen in the pitstops, the rumble effect, and the steering responsiveness in the game.
It is not yet clear when the Playstation 4 and Windows versions will get the patch. The exact release notes for the patch can be seen here.
Project CARS has over 100 tracks, dynamic weather and time of day, gameplay running at 60 frames per second, and many social and multiplayer features.
While there is a lower car count in the game - around 75 compared to the 200+ in Forza Motorsport 5 - Project CARS makes up for this with the wide variety of race types, car types, and racing conditions giving it a good replay value.
The motorsport simulation video game was released in Europe and Australia first on 7 May, followed by UK on 8 May, and North America on 12 May. It took more than four years to develop, with its release date delayed three times. Project CARS is distributed by Bandai Namco for Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The Wii U and StreamOS/Linux will also get the game at a later date.
