Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, one of the most anticipated action-adventure third-person shooter game for Playstation 4, is expected to have a release window of anytime between 2016 January and March. Aside from this, the multiplayer function has been confirmed, and an Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 (E3) is imminent.

"You'll see it will be worth it as we reveal more about Uncharted 4 over the next year. The team at Naughty Dog will be heads down working through 2015 making sure that Nathan Drake's story gets the closure it deserves. Come Spring 2016, you and Nate are in for one thrilling, emotional ride," game directors Bruce Straley and Nathan Druckmann wrote in their Sony blog post.

Druckmann also mentioned they were working on a multi-player mode previously.

This is now backed by lead game designer Robert Cogburn's recent tweet, which mentioned a multi-player match between of the development two teams working on Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.

Meanwhile, community manager Eric Monacelli's latest statement is understood as a sure sign of Uncharted 4's appearance at the upcoming 2015 E3 in Los Angeles on 16-18 June. The team is all-hands-on-deck as the E3 draws closer.

"Our team is just full of evil geniuses and wizards and they're just really good programmers... Naughty Dog has this sort of special magic that whenever we go into crunch it's just like, we all come together and we want the absolute best of everything," Monacelli said.

According to initial reaction to the game and its trailer, it is said that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is dark and foreboding compared to its predecessor, The Last of Us, which could mean more focus on the background as well as the future difficulties of the main character Nathan Drake. Also, the initial trailer gave fans an idea that the upcoming game allows for more room to make decisions on where players would go and which path to take in the game.

Developer Naughty Dog is also being expected to improve gameplay, especially with some criticism seen on the sneaking, crafting, and gun handling aspects of the game.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is set three years after the previous game's events. Retired fortune hunter Nathan Drake settled into a normal life, but his thought-to-be-deceased older brother Sam suddenly appears seeking for his help. Together they try to uncover a conspiracy behind a long lost pirate colony and its fabled pirate treasure.
