EA DICE recently released its Battlefield 4 spring patch, which brings some much-needed game fixes and enhancements, as well as new content such as vehicles, weapons and maps.
The spring patch is available already, and the issues regarding audio, multiplatform crashes, and AMD card crashes were addressed. Discrepancies in stats caused by claymore kills were also fixed.
As for improvements, players can look forward to improved functions on the Parachute Auto deploy, Auto Peek Over, and Auto Side Lean. The friendly fire lock on Classic mode was also removed.

Meanwhile, the Gun Master mode, which became popular in Battlefield 3, makes its comeback. It is played like a team deathmatch, where weapons are chosen randomly. The Gun Master mode has five presets (standard, classic, pistol, DLC, and troll) with 18 different weapons each.
The night maps are night versions of existing maps such as Siege of Shanghai, Zavod 311, and Golmud Railway. A new community map as well as a map remake from a previous Battlefield game was also released with the update.
The new guns include the assault rifle AN94 with unique burst gameplay, the Groza-1 carbine with built-in vertical grip, the Groza-4 personal defense weapon with built-in silencer, the saddle Gun "sniper" sidearm that uses magnum rounds, and the L86A1 magazine-fed light machine gun. The new update also minimizes player stuttering and boosts the performance of fast-handling vehicles over the network. New audio improvements, such as unique sound for headshots and improved bullet sounds for soldier impacts, are presented.
All future patches for Battlefield 4 will be available to every player for free. Players already got a taste of the freebies with the spring patch, and with all the new content, fixes, and improvements that were introduced everyone can say that EA DICE is on the right track with this game.
