"Entourage" Movie Update: Newly Released Film Adaptation Features Over Thirty Celebrity Cameos

By

Following, the eight-seasoned HBO TV series which entertained millions of viewers from years 2004 until 2011, the film adaptation of "Entourage" has been finally released to the big screen on Wednesday; and just like its TV show, the movie successfully amused its audience especially with over thirty celebrity cameos.

Everyone from Hollywood celebrities, athletes, to singers and even businessmen has made a brief appearance as themselves to the nearly two-hour film. According to Movie News Guide, the long list includes models Jessica Alba, Emily Ratajkowski, Nina Agdal, and Alyssa Miller; British journalist Piers Morgan, comedians Bob Saget, Andrew Dice Clay, and David Spadel; actors Matt Damon, Gary Busey, Armie Hammer, Ed O'Neill, David Faustino, George Takei, Kelsey Grammer and Mark Wahlberg; "Taken" franchise star Liam Neeson, directors Jon Favreau, David Arquette, and James Cameron; and the retired boxing champion Mike Tyson.

But that's not all; Business insider reports that athletes including Ronda Rousey, Russell Wilson of Seattle Seahawks, Baron Davis; Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski of New England Patriots; and Clay Matthews of Green Bay Packers also appeared in the "Entourage" movie. Even musicians including T.I., Calvin Harris and Pharell, and businessmen Marc Cuban and Warren Buffet have also made it to the list of the personalities who were present in the film.

With all these celebrity appearances, it might be interesting to know how the producers gathered and coordinated their schedules. According to EntertainThis, the cameos did not have to do with the paychecks.

"Entourage" director Doug Ellin mentioned in USA Today that they did not pay the personalities a handful of money. What convinced them was the "good time" that the movie will provide to the stars. In fact, it was reported that some of the stars was really willing to play a part in the movie. "For them, they're part of that family," Writer Rob Weiss said. "All the athletes love it. We've been fortunate to have a dedicated fan base that includes some real cool people."

Now, if these famous personalities did enjoy being a part of the film, there is no doubt that most of its viewers will be entertained as well. "Entourage" is already showing in theaters nationwide since Wednesday.
