Batman: Arkham Knight to feature new game plus and loading screen-free gameplay

Batman: Arkham Knight will allow players to go through the entire game without encountering loading screens and provide them with the bonus of a new game plus upon completion.

The two interesting facts about the upcoming game were recently revealed by director Stefon Hill, in a video talking about the game.

Starting off with the loading screens, Hill says players will not encounter any of them at any point in the game. Hill even said taking the loading screens out of Batman: Arkham Knight was one of the most important things they wanted to pull off.

According to Gamerant, taking loading screens out of games is not exclusive to Batman: Arkham Knight, with The Witcher 3 being the most recent example of a game that boasted the absence of them. Interestingly, The Witcher 3 was not completely devoid of loading screens, though they did appear very sparingly. Whether or not Rocksteady Studios follows through on their promise is worth seeing when the game is ready to come out.

The other interesting fact Hill revealed about the game was its new game plus, according to Techno Buffalo. The new game plus is also a feature most gamers are probably familiar with already, so it's not a surprise to see Rocksteady Studios using it for their creation.

In their version of the new game plus, players can take things such as their in-game experience points, gadgets, and Riddler trophies into the new mode, meaning they can tackle once incredibly challenging obstacles that were found earlier in the game and simply take them down with ease.

New Batmobile gear such as the EMP and Drone Virus weapons were also revealed by Hill in the video, according to Gamespot. Players will able to use the EMP weapon to immobilize enemies while the Drone Virus weapon can allow Batman to take control over drones.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be available on the PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One starting June 23.
