Game maker Square Enix gets fans utterly hyped as it revealed the line of titles it will be releasing for it's current fiscal year. President Yosuke Matsuda laid out the plans for the games it will be releasing. However, the array of video games didn't include the highly anticipated Final Fantasy 15. This means that it not until March 31st of next year that we'll see the game.
The president said in a statement that they wanted the competition against other titles to be tough. And as other huge competing companies are releasing their huge titles inE3 this month, they believe that it's also important they be conservative with the interval left for their fiscal year.
Matsuda has said, "We expect the competitive environment to be tough, with our competitors announcing big titles in the E3 in June. We believe our titles can fully compete with these big titles, however, as I will explain later, we have been conservative in our forecast for FY2016/3."
More so, game director Hajime Tabata assessed a 60 percent development with regards to Final Fantasy 15. The game will be launched for the PS4 and Xbox One.
Meanwhile, Moviepilot revealed that they are a bit worried with regards to the game, as it currently tried the demo just recently. It said that it needs to develop its combat, and that it should go in line or even at top against the promising Wicker 3.
While we wait for further announcements, there will be a broadcast of the Active Time Report on Youtube and Twitch today. Tabata and marketing manager Akio Ofuji will share new information about the game, most likely also its official release.
As to the upcoming E3, the company will be showing the lineup of its games but it's very unlikely that Final Fantasy 15 is included.
