The weapons and Spartan abilties that are set to be included in Halo 5: Guardians will be adjusted in order to account for better gameplay.
The changes are being made after the team behind Halo 5: Guardians reviewed the feedback they received from the game's beta testing, according to Gameranx.
Josh Holmes from 343 Industries, one of the game's developers, said that the feedback-based changes are being implemented to help improve the experience of Halo 5. He also indicated that all of the weapons in the game have been adjusted based on the feedback they have received.
As for the particulars of the adjustments, some areas that have been addressed include bullet magnetism as well as some varied balance tweaks needed to set the weapons better.
Holmes also said that the weapon which may have been changed the most thanks to the feedback is the Sniper Rifle, according to Gaming Bolt. The most noticeable change made to the weapon is the speed at which it transitions from being zoomed in to zoomed out. Holmes said the change was necessary in order to improve the overall flow of combat.
Abilities such as charge, ground and pound, and also risk/reward have also been tweaked to better fit into the mechanics of Halo 5: Guardians.
