Snow White and the Huntsman prequel is now in the works as actor Chris Hemsworth was seen in the set of the movie. Many fans are excited for the upcoming movie, although many are also wondering how it will turn out without Snow White in it.
Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron are back to reprise their roles as the Huntsman and evil Queen Ravenna respectably. With the expected release of the film starting to get nearer as it will be released in less than a year from now, the production for the movie has officially started as pictures of Hemsworth are seen in the movie set.
Hemsworth was recently spotted wearing his leather outfit and munching on chips as he was hanging around crew members. Other pictures show the actor and Jessica Chastain as they were captured talking in their boat scene.
Aside from Hemsworth and Theron, Sam Claflin will also reprise his role as Duke Hammond's son, William. In the movie Snow White and the Huntsman, William was Snow White's love interest. Also, the cast will include Nick Frost who will be back to play as one of the dwarves and he will be joined by Rob Brydon, Sheridan Smith and Alexandra Roach, and it will be directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan.
Another addition to the cast is Into the Woods actress Emily Blunt who will play as the Snow Queen, the sister of Queen Ravenna who seem to be as evil as her.
In The Huntsman, Snow White is excluded from the story as it will be about the Huntsman and Queen Ravenna's characters and how their paths crossed. In the movie, the Huntsman will go on a mission to track down the magic mirror that was stolen from him.
Although The Huntsman seem to be a pretty exciting film of magic, bravery, and love, but many are wondering if it'll be as well-accepted as Snow White and the Huntsman. It's no secret that the previous movie which grossed $395 million worldwide was a huge blockbuster hit. Now that Snow White is out of the picture, many are curious as to how the exclusion of Snow White, which was played by Kristen Stewart, will affect the next film. There's no way of knowing though, other than waiting for the movie to hit the theaters next year.
The Huntsman is slated for release on April 22, 2016.
