Microsoft has pushed another update that brings additional features for its Office 2016 Preview earlier this month to give users a better experience with the productivity suite.
"We now have over one million customers using the Office Preview across both Windows and Mac platforms... we would be adding features regularly for customers to test [the product]," Office corporate VP Kirk Koenigsbauer posted in Office Blogs.
"We have more new features in the pipeline that will be showing up in the Preview over the coming weeks," he added as he invited more people to try out the Office 2016 Preview.
Koenigsbauer provided details regarding the update, which includes real-time group editing in Word (called Real Time Presence) and simplified file sharing. Improvements on Insights, Power Pivot, grammar check, and History menu were also introduced. It should be noted that the software suite is meant to have a heavy online presence, with emphasis on Cloud computing solutions like SharePoint and OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive).

The tech giant released the the Office 2016 Preview last May, and it was Office marketing team general manager Jared Spataro who promoted it back then.
"Office 2016 previewers will get an early look at the next release of Office on Windows desktop, but more importantly they'll help to shape and improve the future of Office," Spataro wrote in the Office Blogs.
"Office 2016 Preview is still a work in progress, and while not all of the features we expect to ship in the fall are available for use now, new features will be added every month," he added.
Spataro then went on to outline the different features of the Office 2016 Preview, such as easier and faster software navigation and response as well as data analysis, real-time co-authoring, the search tool Tell me, a new Exchange feature called Clutter, and the web tool Insights. He also mentioned some of the Office 2016's new security, compliance, and deployment features for enterprise IT solutions which makes deployment and management easier.
