The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been beset with game glitches for the past weeks. While game developer CD Projekt RED has been trying to address the concerns, some of the players have gotten a bit adventurous exploring the game, discovering ways and glitches that can be used to maximize their game. Latest of which is a glitch that will basically get game character Geralt to be invincible.
YouTube user WhatsMyGame has discovered and shared how other players can make use of this Witcher 3 invincibility glitch. WhatsMyGame uploaded an 11-minute video guide on how players can imbue Geralt of Rivia with invincibility, infinite damage per second and infinite sign intensity. This actually is an opposite strategy that Polygon initially recommendation that suggests gamers to play the game on its highest difficulty.
The steps detailed in the video are quite easy. Players will have to purchase the "Potion of Clearance" at Novigrad in order to clear their skill points and "get them right" for the process. Gamers should be at least between levels 20 to 22 in order to accomplish this. Afterwhich, players will need to get a lot of the "Enhanced Dimeritium Bomb" as these are the ones that will increase game stats. The bombs can also be purchased at White Barren. Last is to just follow instructions of throwing the bombs, one by one, at a place where the game character won't get interrupted, since they would need to keep running through the green smoke generated, as many times as possible.
This isn't the first glitch that gamers exploited while playing Witcher 3: Witch Hunt. A few of the game's fans discovered an infinite money glitch. Apparently, what players need to do is to kill the cows in the field, collect the hides, and sell them for quick cash. After a few hours, they can return to the field to find newly spawned cows to kill again, thereby providing a steady source of income.
This was one of the items addressed in the latest patch released by the game developers earlier this month. CD Projekt RED mentioned that they plan to stop it using the "Bovine Defense Force Initiative". It seems that players who plans to exploit this will find themselves encountering a high-level, fast-moving attack monster that easily hunts down lower-level players who kill off cows. Not really a glitch fix, but it's a somewhat inventive way to address the concern.
Regardless whatever the game glitches or cheats that are present in Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, players are still having fun exploring this action role playing game, while CD Projekt RED continue to work on issue resolutions.
