Katy Perry’s 1984, A Direct Answer to Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood? Dark Horse Singer's Camp Denied Allegations

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift used to be friends. However, there are a lot of reports saying that these hit makers are 'straight up enemies'. In fact, it was rumored that Perry is making a new song entitled 1984 which is a direct answer to Swift's Bad Blood. Her management denied that such song is going to be released under Perry's belt.

As reported by Digital Spy, it was between 2009 to 2011 that these two artists were in good terms. But the feud may have started when they dated John Mayer. In 2012, Swift dated Mayer but their relationship ended immediately. That same year, Perry dated the male singer after splitting up with her ex-husband.

But that was just the start. The feud may have gotten worse when some of Swift's dancers were offered to work for Perry. However, this offer meant that the dancers will have to leave Swift in the middle of her tour. Lockhart Brownlie revealed that they have accepted Perry's offer as they do not dance a lot in Swift's shows. He also mentioned that Taylor was 'untouchable', giving the impression that they love to work with Perry than the Bad Blood singer.

Swift has already shared in some interviews that Bad Blood is about another artist who tried to sabotage her concert by hiring some of the people who worked for her.

As Hollywood Life reported, the '1984' video will have cameos but will be different from Swift's recent music video with her pal, Selena Gomez which created more speculations that a new song will be released by Perry.

However, a clarification from Perry's management was shared by Ibtimes. They cleard that Perry hasn't registered a new song with a title '1984, nor is she writing or singing it.

To date, both singers have not name-dropped their enemies but with the comments and posts from each camp, they are giving strong clues about the real status of their relationship.
