'The Fosters' Nominated for Best Drama Series in 2016 Teens Choice Awards; Fans thrilled with Jonnor Nailing their DTR

"The Fosters" was reported to be part of the nominees for best drama series in the upcoming 2016 Teen Choice Awards this coming August. The family drama also had recently opened its third season and everybody seemed to be back in school this summer.

"The Fosters" was nominated for the best drama series category in the 2016 Teen Choice Awards. It was joined by other high caliber TV drama series "Castle," "Grey's Anatomy" and "Empire." Although it would seem that "Empire" had a large number of TV viewership on its side, a web article laid its cards in favor of "The Fosters" as it was much closer to the "teen" genre, based on a report from CarterMatt. Apart from that, the show also "delivered strong, compelling, and at times even daring [entertainment]." Nonetheless, it could be a tough fight for "The Fosters" as the awards show was dominated by "Twitter fan followings."

Meanwhile, the family drama had just recently opened its third season and fans would soon be rekindling their connection, intimate or otherwise, to their well-loved characters. Perhaps one of the segments in the season opener which made fans hang on to their seats was when Connor finally found the courage to embrace and admit how he truly felt for Jude and how he stood up for those feelings, based on a report from The Work Print.

Meanwhile, Callie would get in to hot water after she helped a random guy who fled his foster parents and ended up in the center where Callie was taking her internship. Callie would help the guy, AJ, by letting him stay at the center overnight. However, her kind gesture was rewarded by betrayal as she would soon find out in the morning that AJ had left with several canisters of paint from the center.

The incident resulted to Callie being fired. What's worst, she needed that internship so badly so she could graduate on time.
